Welcome to PrivéBirds. By accessing our services, making a booking, or traveling through arrangements facilitated by us, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, which are designed to ensure a seamless, secure, and efficient private aviation experience.
Booking, Identification & Check-In Requirements
All passengers are required to complete their booking using accurate personal details and must present at least one valid government-issued photo identification at the time of booking as well as during boarding. The name provided at the time of reservation must exactly match the identification document, failing which boarding may be denied without any liability or refund. Passengers are strictly required to report for check-in no later than one hour prior to the scheduled departure time, as private aviation operations follow strict slot and clearance protocols; failure to arrive within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the booking without any refund or rescheduling.
Seat Allocation & Passenger Limitations
All bookings made through PrivéBirds are strictly allocated on a per-seat basis, meaning that each confirmed seat is valid for one individual passenger only. Under no circumstances shall a passenger be permitted to bring an additional person against a single booking, nor shall any form of seat sharing, substitution, or adjustment be allowed. Any attempt to board with unregistered passengers will result in immediate denial of boarding without refund, as manifest accuracy and regulatory compliance are mandatory in private aviation operations.
Payment Policy & Refund Conditions
All payments made to PrivéBirds for bookings, including empty-leg or on-demand charter arrangements, are strictly non-refundable once confirmed. By proceeding with payment, the client explicitly agrees that no cancellations, modifications, or refunds will be entertained under any circumstances, including personal emergencies, travel changes, or external disruptions. The only exception to this policy applies in the event that the aircraft operator cancels an empty-leg flight entirely, in which case the client shall be eligible to receive a full 100% refund of the amount paid, without any additional compensation or liability.
Empty Leg / Ferry Flight Conditions
Clients booking empty-leg or ferry flights acknowledge that such flights are inherently dynamic and subject to operational dependencies, including aircraft repositioning requirements, regulatory approvals, and scheduling changes. As such, the date and time of departure may be advanced or delayed at any time, and such changes shall be considered final and binding upon the passenger. In all such cases, no refunds, reimbursements, or compensations shall be provided, and the client remains obligated to travel as per the revised schedule. This condition applies irrespective of any personal arrangements made by the client, including but not limited to hotel bookings, connecting travel, or intercity transportation. For example, if a passenger is traveling from another city to board a private jet from Delhi to Mumbai and the flight timing changes after such arrangements have been made, PrivéBirds shall bear no responsibility or liability for any losses incurred, and no claims shall be entertained. By confirming the booking, the client fully accepts that empty-leg flights are offered at preferential pricing precisely due to such flexibility constraints and operational uncertainties.
Baggage, Pets & Onboard Limitations
All baggage carried by passengers is subject to aircraft-specific limitations, weight restrictions, and operator approvals, and may vary depending on the type of aircraft assigned for the journey. Excess baggage may be refused at the sole discretion of the operator without any refund or adjustment. Pets are strictly not permitted on empty-leg flights under any circumstances unless explicitly approved in writing prior to booking, which is rare and operator-dependent.
Passenger Conduct & Compliance
Passengers are expected to maintain the highest standards of conduct, decorum, and compliance throughout their journey. Any failure to adhere to crew instructions, aviation safety regulations, or security protocols may result in immediate denial of boarding or removal from the aircraft without refund. PrivéBirds and its partner operators reserve the absolute right to refuse service to any individual deemed non-compliant, disruptive, or in violation of aviation norms.
Photography & Media Policy
Passengers are permitted to capture photographs and videos strictly through mobile devices for personal use during boarding and while inside the aircraft; however, the use of professional cameras, videography equipment, or any form of commercial or promotional content creation is strictly prohibited unless prior written authorization has been obtained. Any violation of this policy may result in immediate intervention by crew or denial of boarding rights.
Ticket Applicability
All tickets issued through PrivéBirds are applicable to passengers of all age groups; however, minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless otherwise approved in advance. Standard identification and documentation requirements apply uniformly to all passengers regardless of age.
Operational & Service Disclaimer
All flights arranged through PrivéBirds are operated by authorized air carriers holding valid Non-Scheduled Operator Permits (NSOP) issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) or their respective international regulatory equivalents, in full compliance with applicable aviation laws, safety standards, and operational guidelines. PrivéBirds functions solely as a private aviation consultancy and intermediary service provider and does not own, operate, or control any aircraft. Our role is limited to facilitating access to empty-leg (ferry) flights and on-demand charter solutions through certified operators, and all operational responsibilities lie solely with the respective carrier.
